Storybook

Ella and I are often in the parks and forests doing photo shoots while running and playing. I have decided to offer a few of these shoots to people in our local area, so if you have a child that loves to dress up and pretend they are part of Once Upon A Time or a Superhero, Princess, etc. give us a call! 253-310-8638

On the road....Seattle-Spokane

Whew!  I can't believe it's almost August!  One of our trips we did this summer, was road trip from Seattle to Montana, and then fly back.  We stopped over in Spokane and stayed at the lovely RH hotel, racked up the steps walking the river walk and enjoyed the great pool.  Here are just a few pics.

Headshots!

Ella, our youngest photographer, is almost 10 and has been taking acting and modeling workshops with Seattle Talent, to add to her resume. ;)  She is loving it so far!

Adventures!

Wow, the summer has just been flying by!  Keeping up with the blog has been hard for me, clearly....if you don't already follow along, catch us on Instagram @parkspix or Twitter or Facebook, we post daily in those places.

Seattle in the Spring!

I hope you are following along on our Facebook and Instagram, because this year we are working even harder to support our local economy, visit local businesses in and around Tacoma and the Seattle area, and play tourist in our own backyard.  We are still available for travel assignments, but in the mean time, we love to enjoy our local area daily!

Las Vegas For Kids!

We love taking our entire family to Las Vegas.  I know that a lot of people assume that there isn't much for kids to do there, but really there is a ton of stuff, and most of the awesome things we continue to do are free!  Here are just a few ideas.....these links take you to reviews/pics I did recently.

Spring in the PNW

Hello there! If you haven't been following the Seattle area weather, we've had more rain than we've had pretty much ever.  We are breaking all kinds of rain records!  But, even though I love the sunshine, I never take the GREENS for granted here in the PNW.  Without the rain we wouldn't be the lovely shades of all kinds of green this time of year.

Chinese New Year, 2017

This last weekend, we stayed in Old Town Tacoma at the Silver Cloud Inn so that we could watch and play with all of the crazy hunters and artists involved in #monkeyshines2017 whoo hoo!!!!  The room we had had a window right out over the water and Ruston Way to see all of the walkers. Just so you realize how desperately I wanted to be in the middle of everything so that I could watch as well as hunt, we actually live in Tacoma!

Monkeyshines usually coincides with the Lunar New Year and entails a massive, city-wide scavenger hunt for glass globes and medallions hidden throughout Tacoma. Each year, a secretive team of glassblowers creates hundreds of these globes and medallions, all unique, all handblown.

So much silly fun.  We have tried to find glass orbs for 3 years and have never found anything.....we have taken so many lovely photos in the areas of Tacoma that we don't see enough. And, i'm just going to leave this here and share some of my posts from the weekend to see how much excitement we had.

Are you following us on Social Media?  Unfortunately I am not good with the blogging but i post when we are outside on a daily basis.
